Security warning
Please note: Khronos does not supply any security or warranties for the safeguarding of property.
As you may be aware, at trade shows during setup there is a lot of vulnerability to theft because of the exposure of tools and equipment. Thankfully, there is an unwritten law where thieves are dealt with in the style of the old west. Therefore, inbound packages are usually pretty safe even sitting on the booth space.
During the show, there may be issues with delegates stealing items, but we have never had that happen on the Khronos booth. You may want to check with your IT or tradeshow staff to see if they may provide security items such as leashes or cables.
For Overnight security, you may leave the equipment at the demo pod or inside the unlocked cabinet, but you do take the chance that it might get stolen. Again, Khronos has never experienced a theft of equipment, but it is always possible.
For proprietary or high risk items, you should remove daily as the show floor closes.
When the Expo ends on Thursday, there is an immediate rush by the facility staff to pull up the carpet and free the freight aisles for dismantle. This causes a lot of chaos and it is recommended that you breakdown and remove your demonstration equipment as the show ends.
Demo set up info
- We will produce a poster for you that will indicate that you are a Khronos Member or Technology User. All Demo station posters are 24 inches wide and 32 inches tall.
- Each grey metallic-powder coated demo station has two separate counters (32-inch wide, set "back to back") to be leased separately, and each is appx 17 inches deep on each side of the middle poster panel.
- The GSG staff will be building the booth August 5th and 6th
- ALL DEMO COMPANIES MUST BE PRESENT NO LATER THAN 8:30AM on August 7th, the opening day. Please note that the show closes at 6pm tuesday wednesday, and 3:30pm on Thursday.
- All Demos must be attended during the show. If you have to leave and take your equipment, please make sure the GSG team knows this and what time you expect to be back.
- If you want to bring your own signs - we suggest 8x11 to a max of 11x17 We have cardboard easel backs that stick on so it may sit on the table next to your demo - in front of your sign
Systems and Monitors
You must bring your own systems and monitors
- Please note that these stations will accommodate handheld devices and FLAT PANEL monitors ONLY.
- Each demo company will have a power strip provided for their use, and may also use our scissors, tape, staples, pens, paper towels, aspirin, etc
- Each demo company will get 'One pocket for literature' on the demo stand
- If you need to rent a monitor, we have the following available - $250.00 for all three days includes delivery, set up, return pick up.

- For equipment security, the Demo pods have a 2.5" hole drilled in the back of each counter top to allow cords to pass from inside the cabinet to the counter top. You may run your own security cables from the demo equipment into this hole and secure them inside the cabinet. In addition, we will have eyebolts available for installation inside the cabinet as needed.
- We do not provide internet access unless otherwise noted on the events page.

All demo stand renters get 2 badges per side - or four badges for a full station. If you are demoing or Speaking in the Khronos Theater Booth, you receive a badge and you may pick it up at exhibitor registration.
